Melihat gambar-gambar mangsa peperangan di Gaza membuat hati menjadi pilu, sedih dan sekaligus marah dengan mereka yang bertanggungjawab terhadap semua ini. Dalam pada para pemimpin saling bertelingkah soal politik, maruah, kehendak, hak dan bermacam-macam isu, mereka lupa bahawa yang menjadi mangsa adalah mereka yang tidak berdosa. Malah mereka yang terkorban ini ada yang belum mengerti apa-apa.

Wahai pemimpin, belum cukup lagikah darah yang sudah tumpah? Nyawa yang melayang begitu saja? Terlalu murahkah nyawa manusia bagi kalian yang hanya berunding tanpa penyelesaian?

Lit up the sky over Gaza tonight
People running for cover
Not knowing whether they’re dead or alive
They came with their tanks and their planes
With ravaging fiery flames
And nothing remains
Just a voice rising up in the smoky haze

Women and children alike
Murdered and massacred night after night
While the so-called leaders of countries afar
Debated on who’s wrong or right
But their powerless words were in vain
And the bombs fell down like acid rain
But through the tears and the blood and the pain
